With his unique talent and strong faith, LowKeezy stands apart from others in an industry obsessed with flashy wealth and worldly possessions. He is the Founder/Co-owner of New Midwest Entertainment, LLC, a full service multi-media company dedicated to recording, branding and promoting new talent. LowKeezy is also an established artist in his own right who has transformed himself from typical rapper to inspirational artist. He has ignited the “Saved with Swagg” movement and will release an album titled I.O.U. in spring of 2016. The project celebrates the Glory of God and is filled with deep personal meaning.

Music has always been in LowKeezy’s blood as he grew up listening to the pioneers of Hip Hop Culture. He credits his Uncle with introducing him to new music whenever he’d visit. And he admits he’d sneak listen to DJ Quick, Snoop Dogg and NWA, even though his parents preferred he stick with the Fat Boys and Run DMC. Growing up in Jefferson Square, LowKeezy devoured it all—from Old School to New School Rap, Hip Hop and R&B. He quickly developed his own style and released numerous albums and mix tapes, selling more than 50,000 copies independently. He has opened for headline artists including Too Short, Tec N9ne, Outlawz, TI, Keisha Cole and many others.

Now with a true desire to uplift people through music, LowKeezy attracts a new audience with his cool beats and positive message—all while maintaining his signature look, which continues to be fresh and on-point.

Born Phil Jones, LowKeezy is a proud husband and father who enjoys spending time with his family when he’s not working. He has a certification from Johnson County Community College in Business Planning and is currently working towards his BA in Communications.
